A little bit about myself
Based in the heart of Toronto, I'm a full-stack developer and data engineer. Now, you might be wondering, how did I end up here?
Well, let's rewind the clock a bit, back to 2019 when I ventured into the world of college with almost zero background in computer science. I had my doubts, and I secretly wondered if I'd drop out after the first semester.
Fast forward four years, and there I was, on a Thursday evening, tuning in to the Next.js conference, testing out the latest Astro.js, diving into Rust, and hitting up IT meetups and conferences. It's safe to say things worked out quite nicely!
See, when I first dipped my toes into the IT world, I had this idea that it was all about math, analytics, and logic. Don't get me wrong; I'm not terrible at that stuff. It's just that I'm also a creative soul, and I had this nagging worry that I'd burn out eventually.
But over the years, I've discovered that coding is more than just crunching numbers. It's a canvas for creativity. It's like having the best of both worlds: the freedom to express myself and the thrill of tackling brain-teasing problems. What could be better, right?
Coding Chronicles
Welcome to my Coding Chronicles section, where I spill the beans on my week-long coding adventures!
Powered by the magical Wakatime tool that I've being using since 2020, I wanna show you what I've been up to in the past 7 days of my life.
Behold my weekly code-o-meter, tracking the hours I've spent 'talking' to my computer - my way of proving that I'm in a committed relationship with my code!
Explore my 'Language Mashup' chart, a wild mixtape of coding languages, libraries, and frameworks I've been jamming with this week – it's a musical symphony of tech notes!
Dive into my 'IDEology' chart, and you'll see my coding life isn't just about languages; it's a melodrama starring an ensemble cast of coding editors - my trusty companions in this epic tech journey!
My toolkit
Coding is today's language of creativity. Here are languages I speak by now.
Comfort Zone
In my tech comfort zone, I'm like a fish in the coding sea. These are my trusty sidekicks, my coding comrades, the ones that never let me down.
Familiar Fellas
Then there are those tech buddies who I've shared a few laughs with, but I'm not ready to invite them over for a weekend coding marathon just yet. We might not finish each other's sentences, but we understand enough to work together.
One-Time Wonders
And let's not forget the tech acquaintances I met once or twice at coding parties. We had some fun times, but I wouldn't trust them to watch my code overnight. They may not be in my inner coding circle, but I'm always up for a reunion when the occasion calls for it.
